Jana Brazier Haidak is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is licensed by the state of Tennessee to provide family centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common as well as complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
Jana received her ADN from Motlow State Community College in 2001, her BSN from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011, and her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Austin Peay State University in 2013. She is board certified by the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center). She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.
Jana has accumulated over 10 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of nursing care (medical/surgical, women’s health, operating room, and plastic, hand and reconstructive surgery). She has additional training in laser procedures and aesthetics and can provide Botox and dermal filler injections to help decrease the signs of aging to the face.
Jana has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients. Her true desire is to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need. Jana considers it a privilege to be in the field of nursing and feels obligated to continue to improve her skills and knowledge, so that she may give the best care possible to her patients. To her, there is no greater reward than to help a patient to heal or recover from their illness.
Jana currently resides in Tullahoma with her husband, Dr Paul M Haidak, and her two daughters, two dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending her weekends outside by the pool relaxing. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, art and craft projects and UT football.
Saharra Jewell is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner that is dedicated to promoting health for women. She believes in providing women, through their life span, with sensitive, individualized care through health promotion, education and counseling. She also believes in including women in the decision-making process regarding their care.
Saharra emphasizes to her patients the importance of Functional Medicine – the integration of exercise, healthy eating, and stress reduction. Her patients range from young girls with irregular periods to older women experiencing the complexities of menopause.
Her duties primarily consist of providing annual well woman exams, acquiring medical histories, diagnosing and treating both chronic and acute female problems, and ordering and assessing diagnostic tests. She also provides urinary dynamic testing to help with the diagnosis of stress incontinence. Her specialized skills include Colposcopy, cervical and endocervical biopsy, and IUD insertion.
Saharra earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999 and her Masters in nursing with an emphasis on women’s health from Vanderbilt University in 2002. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
